Job description

A leading and well-established company in the FMCG industry is looking for a highly experienced General Manager of Finance & Accounting. This key leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient accounting processes, and strong financial controls to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

The successful candidate will report directly to the CFOand work closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, compliance, and operational excellence. This is a confidential search for a highly skilled financial leader who can balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term strategic initiatives to support business objectives.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards (PSAK, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Cost Management: Oversee cost optimization efforts, providing financial insights to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure the financial sustainability of the company.
• Internal Controls & Compliance: Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with all relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Audits: Lead both internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure adherence to financial and operational standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear financial analysis and reporting to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or other relevant professional certifications (Brevet, CFA) preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the FMCG industry, preferably in the tobacco sector.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of PSAK, IFRS, and tax regulations. Experience in managing cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work collaboratively with C‑suite executives.
• Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Strong financial acumen, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
• Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
