Qualifications

• Primary focus as Head of Sustainability & Corporate Sustainability (SCA) is implementing the Corporate Affairs (CA) strategy in support of the business.
• Role includes Government Affairs, managing issues affecting freedom to operate (FTO), stakeholder management and civil society partnerships, as well as media relations and internal communications.
• Provides advice to country leaders and collaborates with Regulatory and Stewardship to align with the commercial team for positive FTO outcomes.
• Works with SCA colleagues in ASIA and AMEA to ensure a coordinated strategy for Syngenta’s freedom to operate.

Responsabilités

• To assist in the development of organizational sustainability strategy to support business growth in line with Syngenta’s global sustainability commitments.
• To implement Business Sustainability Programs and activities in collaboration with relevant functions.
• To lead new initiatives in mitigating the effect of climate change in agriculture including regenerative agriculture translated in programs and activities covering sustainable and responsible business, government and public affairs.
• To build strategic partnership with relevant stakeholders such as government, NGOs, community development agencies, and others related to agriculture and business.
• To support advocacy activities to maintain LTO/FTO of the business.
