Job summary

Asia Pulp and Paper Group (APP) is seeking an Audit professional to join our group finance function. You will conduct preplanning, data collection, and risk assessment at unit/district levels, supporting strategic decision making with audit findings.

You will obtain reliable data, conduct entrance meetings, perform field checks, communicate findings to section head, follow up on actions, and manage audit working papers. Travel to remote areas will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Forestry is required.
• 2–4 years of proven experience in Financial Audit or Operational Audit.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Audit Preplanning for data analysis and unit/district level risk assessment.
• Obtain preliminary data and information from reliable source for audit preplanning and field work.
• Conduct entrance meeting with auditee to communicate Audit objective, Audit scope and Audit Timeline.
• Conduct field sample checking, spot checks and interviews to gain an understanding of the audit scope and business process.
• Communicate Audit Findings to the Section Head.
• Follow up Action Plan to the PIC Auditee to be implemented in timely manner.
• Manage, archive and submit Audit working paper.
