Job description
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement integrated technical roadmaps for GIS, digital twin, and AI systems, evaluating feasibility, cost, and implementation risks.
  • Lead end-to-end project development, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to technical standards. Oversee data collection, spatial analysis, map creation, and 3D modelling.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution. Provide technical support and training on GIS tools, software and applications.
  • Partner with marketing/sales teams to develop technical proposals, tenders, and promotional materials for geospatial and AI-driven services.
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, digital twin, Web3D visualization, edge computing). Conduct feasibility studies for new tools to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Science, Geography, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in GIS, Remote Sensing, spatial analysis, or related field; exposure to project management is preferred.
  • Knowledge in LiDAR data processing workflows, including point cloud classification, quality control, and handling of coordinate reference systems (projection and datum transformation), is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset to address complex geospatial challenges.
  • Strong understanding of GIS software development principles and workflows. Hands‑on experience in database administration, data analysis, and full‑cycle development of GIS systems, particularly 2D/3D web‑based platforms for natural resource management, smart city applications, or digital twin initiatives.
  • Proven track record in managing multi‑disciplinary geospatial projects (e.g., smart cities, environmental monitoring). Demonstrated experience in industry‑specific applications (e.g., smart cities, energy infrastructure, transportation planning) is a strong advantage.
  • Preferred skills: Experience with AI/ML frameworks for spatial data analysis; familiarity with Web 3D platforms (Cesium, Unity, WebGL) for digital twin visualization. Knowledge of cloud‑based geospatial tools (Google Earth Engine, AWS Geo).
