Job description

We are a packaging manufacturer in Indonesia. To continue the growth and success of our organization, we are now looking for a PLANT GM with the in-depth experience, capability and technical expertise to lead the team and execute business deliverables aligned with company strategies.

As an integral member of the Executive Management Team, your primary objectives will be to lead the design and transformation of all resources in the plant operationals, to align production performance with customer-focused business strategy and continuous improvement process. You are required to establish and display good teamwork, personal integrity, professional discretion and strong leadership in accordance to the company values. Responsibilities
  • Ensure that daily operational of all process lines are in accordance with facility capabilities, customer requirements and shipment schedules.
  • Allocate resources effectively to increase production, assets capacity and flexibility within budget allowance and proper cost-reduction measures.
  • Monitor and inspect job sites of each production line, implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs and problem solving corrective actions as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns involving the plant operations.
  • Work closely with Quality Department to uphold product quality and review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
  • Provide direction, development, leadership and training to all production crews to accomplish company goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for effective reporting, department's annual budget and forecasting.
  • Coordinate plant activities with corporate departments to ensure that all aspects of plant operational and manufacturing objectives are accomplished effectively and efficiently in accordance to policies set by the BOD.
  • Communicate and report to the BOD on team performance, technical issues, market insights and other strategic plans.
  • Create and maintain documentation protocols to ensure that all operation records are properly maintained and reviewed in high confidentiality in accordance to ISO, Halal regulations, GMP, and regular audits from clients.
Requirements
  • Maximum 50 yo, Bachelor Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, resides in Jakarta/Tangerang area. Knowledge in Financial Management is beneficial.
  • Currently holding position as Plant or Production Manager in with min. 10 years in printing, paper or flexible packaging industry, and applied expertise in PPIC, Maintenance/Engineering, Work Health & Safety in manufacturing process.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, Adept computer literacy (MS Office & ERP/SAP) & presentation skills, Leadership & problem solving skills, Strong analytical & quantitative skills, Project management.
  • Result & Detail oriented with focus on continuous improvement, Acute time management, Well organized.
  • Proficiency in English both spoken and written. Ability to understand and converse in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • ISO, GMP, Kanban, Supply chain management, Environmental & Industrial Regulations, Commercial agreements, Statistical analysis.
