Overview

As a General Manager for a luxury resort in Bangka Belitung, you will oversee all operations, ensuring smooth delivery of guest experiences while maintaining high standards. This role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the hospitality and leisure sector. We are currently representing an established diversified business owner who is expanding their portfolio of luxury hospitality assets across Indonesia.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Engineering.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals, including revenue growth, profitability, and brand positioning.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction, quality standards, and service excellence.
  • Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a strong management team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Represent the hotel in the local community, industry events, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with ownership on capital expenditure plans, renovations, and new initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback to drive improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of hotel management experience, with at least 5 years in a GM or senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing full-service hotels, preferably in luxury or upscale properties.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment and make strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and operational systems.
  • Willingness to reside in the Bangka Belitung Islands and oversee daily operations on-site.
