A leading hotel management company is seeking an experienced General Manager for their upscale hotel in Bukittinggi, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in hospitality, at least 10 years in a similar role, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The role involves managing the budget, driving revenue, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Fluency in English and experience with expatriate teams are required. Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable hospitality school preferred
Proferably 10 years of experience with same position, demonstrating a successful track record ini managing upscale hotel
Must be fluent in English
Are able to move and live in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera
Excellent problem solving skill and the ability to make strategic decisions
Fluency in a second language preferred
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
Ability to lead expatriates and local colleagues effectively
Excellent communication and customer contact skills
Results and service oriented with an eye for details
Ability to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situations

Discuss with Owner and establish operating budget and financial forecast for the hotel
Analyze monthly P&L and month-end reports, identify deviation from business plan goals
Prepare and submit reports to Owner
Communicate in an effective and timely manner with owner matters
Represent the Brand in projecting a credible image to the market, residents and colleagues alike
Comply with established guidelines on the hotel organizational structure and reporting lines
Manage and establish positive owner relations through proper and appropriate communications with the appointed Owner
Follow appropriate protocol in communicating with the appointed Owner’ representative and keep owner informed of such communications
Lead and guide the Executive Committee team in driving the hotel revenue for all revenue centers to achieve goals and objectives set
Survey and analyze competition, market trends, guest mix and needs. Evaluate and recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Ensure proper documentations and obtain approval before commissioning marketing, advertising, sales, and promotions.
Ensure all Marketing are in compliance with Brand Marketing guidelines
Be present to personally welcome key residents and patrons, and entertain key accounts’ representatives
