Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Furniture Designer Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for supervising the drafter team in preparing furniture shop drawings, ensuring technical details meet design requirements, and coordinating between designers, production teams, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the drafter team in producing furniture shop drawings (2D).
• Ensure detailed drawings are accurate and aligned with design specifications and production needs.
• Review and correct drafter outputs before submission to production.
• Coordinate with design teams, production, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy.
• Maintain quality standards and consistency in all drawings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to drafters when needed.
• Prepare drafting timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Report team progress and performance to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum education D3/S1 in Furniture or Interior Design.
• At least 3 years of experience as a furniture drafter, with prior experience as a lead/supervisor preferred.
• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of furniture construction, materials, and finishing.
• Detail-oriented with excellent technical drawing skills.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Able to work under deadlines and with high-end projects.
