Job summary

PT Cipta Oggi Furindo in Surabaya, Indonesia, seeks a skilled Drafter to create and revise detailed technical drawings for furniture products. You will translate concepts into precise drawings for Production teams, ensuring dimensions, materials, joints, and components are clear and compliant with standards.

Qualifications

• SMK/D3 in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or related field.
• Experience as a Drafter, especially in furniture/manufacturing (preferred).
• Proficient in AutoCAD; ability to use SketchUp, Autodesk Inventor, CorelDraw, or other 3D/CAD software (preferred).
• Understanding of basic engineering drawing, dimensioning, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Detail-oriented with high attention to detail.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work systematically, meet deadlines, and collaborate with various departments.
• Fresh graduates with good CAD skills are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed dimensions, materials, construction, joints, and product components in drawings.
• Create and revise drawings based on prototype results, testing, and production requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with technical standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Purchasing in product development processes.
• Assist in creating and updating BOM (Bill of Materials) and product technical data as needed.
• Check drawings to ensure accuracy of dimensions, details, and consistency.
• Document and manage drawing revisions and technical documents.
