Job summary

LUMI Learning Center in Jakarta Selatan is seeking a full-time Mandarin language teacher to educate Kindergarten to junior high students. You will deliver the center's curriculum, monitor progress, and communicate with parents on learner development.

Ideal candidates are fluent in Mandarin, capable of bilingual instruction in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, and committed to long-term employment. A D3 diploma or related education is preferred, with emphasis on a friendly teaching atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin.
• D3 Diploma required; Education or Chinese majors preferred.
• Able to teach bilingual Mandarin and Indonesian.
• Prior Mandarin teaching experience preferred.

Job description

Full-time Mandarin language teacher at LUMI Learning Center, a professional Mandarin education institute in South Jakarta offering structured Chinese language courses for kindergarten, primary and junior high students.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Mandarin classes for young learners following LUMI's standard curriculum
• Manage classroom activities, record student learning progress and provide regular feedback to parents
• Prepare lesson materials, join internal teaching training and centre activities
• Build positive communication with parents and update them on students' learning performance
• Follow all teaching regulations of LUMI Learning Center and maintain stable attendance

About you

• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
• Capable of bilingual teaching (Mandarin & Bahasa Indonesia)
• Minimum D3 Diploma; Education or Chinese language related majors are preferred
• Candidates with prior Mandarin teaching experience will be prioritized
• Patient, friendly, loves children, responsible and willing for long-term employment
