Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work with Product, Business and Sales teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Ideal candidates have CS degrees, 2+ years in software, strong CS fundamentals, NodeJS/Express experience, frontend skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular/React/Vue.js), REST APIs, and basic SQL knowledge, plus excellent communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years in software industry.
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms).
• Experience with NodeJS and Express.js or similar.
• Frontend skills: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON. Knowledge of Angular/React/Vue.js.
• Proficient in HTTP, Web Services and RESTful APIs.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Sales to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing web applications.
• Write high quality, maintainable code.
• Optimize existing applications for better design and performance.
• Ensure deployments are complete and functioning.
• Participate in design discussions and propose solutions to technical challenges.
