Job summary

Nex Entertainment, a TikTok-native agency spanning the US, Indonesia, and Thailand, seeks an experienced full-stack engineer to own real products from day one. You will build and deploy full-stack apps using React, Vite, TypeScript, and Firebase on a fast-moving, agile team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of production web app experience, deep knowledge of React/Vite/Tailwind, and hands-on Google Cloud / Firebase skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy full-stack web applications from concept to production (React, Vite, TypeScript, and Firebase).
• Develop Cloud Functions (Node.js/TypeScript) for internal APIs and automated workloads.
• Design scalable Firestore data models and enforce security rules.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs (TikTok Data APIs, Lark/Feishu, Mailgun, Google Workspace).
• Deliver dashboards and workflows used by operations, recruitment, and sales.
• Leverage Claude AI to accelerate development velocity and embed AI features.

Nex Entertainment is a TikTok-native agency operating across the US, Indonesia, and Thailand. We partner with leading brands and creators to accelerate growth across TikTok Shop, TikTok GO, and TikTok Live. We engineer our own proprietary tech stack for creator sourcing, community programs, CRM, recruitment, and AI-driven content engines.

As part of a high-impact, agile engineering team, you will take full ownership of real products from day one.

What You Will Do

• End-to-End Development: Architect, build, and deploy full-stack web applications from concept to production (React, Vite, TypeScript, and Firebase).
• Backend & Cloud Architecture: Develop Cloud Functions (Node.js/TypeScript) for internal APIs, automated scheduled workloads, and Firestore reactive triggers.
• Database & Security: Design scalable Firestore data models, maintain clean indexing, and write strict security rules to ensure speed and data integrity.
• System Integrations: Connect third-party services and APIs, including TikTok Data APIs, Lark/Feishu, Mailgun, and Google Workspace.
• Internal Tooling: Deliver mission-critical dashboards and workflows utilized daily by our operations, recruitment, and sales teams.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Leverage modern AI tools (Claude) to accelerate development velocity and embed AI features into our product suite.
• Project Ownership & Monitoring: Autonomously lead multi-stream technical initiatives, maintain deployment pipelines on GCP/Firebase, and monitor production health.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience with shipped production web apps.
• Solid hands-on experience with React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS.
• Practical mastery of Google Cloud Platform / Firebase (Firestore data modeling, Cloud Functions, Hosting, Cloud Run, and IAM fundamentals).
• Active daily workflow with AI coding assistants (particularly Claude), with strong prompt engineering and critical code-verification skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) for daily team syncs, documentation, and chat.
• Self-starter mindset: proactive problem solver, comfortable with fast-paced pivots, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Next.js, Node.js (Express), or React Router.
• End-to-end automation or scraping experience (Playwright, Puppeteer).
• Automated testing suites (Vitest, Jest).
• Hands-on integrations with Lark/Feishu API or Mailgun.
• Experience with 3D/animation libraries (Three.js, GSAP).
• Domain knowledge in TikTok Shop, creator economy platforms, or social commerce.
• Architecture experience for multi-region platforms (handling multiple locales, currencies, and time zones) or Android/WebView wrappers.
