Job summary

Vortex is seeking a frontend Software Engineer to design and build user-facing features with VueJS/ReactJS. You will maintain a Vue-based design system, implement scalable UI components, and optimize performance across complex features such as drag-and-drop and virtualization.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Growth teams, contribute to onboarding, and develop tests using Playwright and Storybook.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of hands-on front-end experience with modern frameworks.
Strong skills in VueJS or ReactJS and Prototyping/UI design libraries.
Experience with drag-and-drop and virtualized rendering is a plus.
Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Storybook.

Responsibilities

Implement and update user experiences by writing code.
Build new UI features with scalable components.
Develop complex front-end components including drag-and-drop and virtualization.
Improve performance by profiling and testing.
Maintain design system with Vue-based components.
Collaborate with Product/Design/Growth to ship core features and docs.
Write end-to-end tests with Playwright and Storybook.
