Job Description
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES
  • Welcomes guests and takes care of them from arrival through departure.
  • Ensures guest permanent satisfaction through high‑quality services.
  • Helps achieve department’s quantitative and qualitative targets.
Main Responsibilities
Customer relations
  • Welcomes guests promptly and attentively.
  • Encourages customer loyalty by building friendly, personalized relationships.
  • Anticipates guests’ needs.
  • Responds promptly to guest complaints and remarks.
  • Conveys the hotel image.
  • Brings brand concepts to life in daily operations (e.g., 10/10 program in France).
  • Respects reservation commitments fully.
  • Performs all guest arrival and departure operations per internal procedures.
  • Informs guests of formalities and special conditions related to their stay.
  • Handles phone calls.
  • Applies internal audit procedures.
  • Passes information to other departments and front desk team members.
  • Maintains up‑to‑date guest documentation.
  • Updates information in the gazette and e‑gazette.
  • Handles reservations as needed.
Professional techniques/Production
  • Performs all arrival/departure operations in compliance with procedures.
  • Informs guests about guidelines and available services.
  • Handles phone calls.
  • Applies internal audit processes.
  • Shares necessary information with other departments.
  • Ensures all guest documentation is current.
  • Updates the gazette and e‑gazette.
  • Handles reservations when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in PMS (Opera, Fidelio, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
  • Good command of English, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Customer‑oriented with a pleasant personality and positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and ability to think on the fly.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn hotel management software.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges.
