About the role

Yayasan Jayama Mentoring Internasional is seeking a part-time French Tutor to join our team in Medan, Sumatera Utara. As a French Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to our students, helping them develop their skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and delivering engaging French language lessons tailored to the needs of individual students
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve
• Collaborating with the education team to develop and refine curriculum materials
• Maintaining detailed records of student attendance, progress, and performance
• Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students

What we're looking for

• Strong proficiency in the French language, both written and spoken (Delf B2)
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring French, preferably to students of various ages and skill levels (2 years)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
• Creativity and flexibility in designing lesson plans and teaching methods
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed
• Relevant educational qualifications or certifications in French language instruction
