Job summary

PT EVERGOOD LOGISTICS INDONESIA is recruiting a Freight Forwarding Operator in Jakarta Barat to support ocean and air import/export procedures, document checks, and coordination with local agents and suppliers.

The role requires fluent English and Indonesian, 1–2 years in international logistics or forwarding, strong communication, and the ability to draw up work plans while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• English proficiency is REQUIRED for this position.
• University degree in logistics/trade/English or related majors preferred.
• Fluent in English and Indonesian with international logistics experience.
• 1–2 years in international logistics, forwarding, or shipping.
• Understanding of international import/export processes.
• Strong communication/coordination, practical, meticulous, responsible; able to plan work independently.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PPT, and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ocean and air shipment import/export procedures.
• Examine shipping documents such as CIPL, BL draft, PIB/PEB and HS code descriptions.
• Coordinate with local suppliers (agents, drivers, liners, brokers) to ensure smooth shipments.
• Resolve operational issues; visit customs and ports when needed.
• Develop new supplier resources per market requirements.
• Send inquiries to local agents/suppliers; compare quotes for sales.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and logistics regulations.

Job description

Assistance with ocean and air shipment import and export procedure.

Help to exam shipping document like CIPL, BL draft, PIB & PEB and cargo HS code cargo description

Coordinate with local supplier, like agent, driver, liner and broker, follow up and secure every shipment process smoothly.

Solve any operational issues, visit custom office and port if needed.

Develop new supplier resources according to market requirements.

Send inquiry to local agent or supplier, collect and compare the price, clarify all the quotation details for sales department.

Ensure all operational activities comply with industry safety standards and relevant logistics regulations

Job Requirements and Skills

English proficiency is REQUIRED and a MUST for this position. Please apply ONLY if you are confident in using English for communication

University degree, logistics/trade/English and other related majors are preferred

Fluent in English and Indonesian, with experience in international logistics and freight forwarding industry

At least 1-2 year work experience, better with experience in international logistic, forwarding company or shipping line

Comprehends for international import and export process.

Have strong communication and coordination skills, be practical, meticulous, and have a strong sense of responsibility, can draw up working plan independently

Skillfully use office software like Excel, Word PPT etc

Certifications

No special requests for certificate, but If any certificate can prove your ability please offer.
