Job summary

Rainforest Alliance is seeking a Senior Assurance Auditor to lead and oversee certification audits across multiple regions. The role focuses on shadow, review, office and field audits to ensure integrity of RA standards and certification bodies.

You will participate in investigations, report findings, and contribute to continual program improvements. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in audits, extensive knowledge of ISO standards and social auditing, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Extensive auditing experience (10+ years) in certification programs.
• Knowledge of global and national environmental and social standards.
• Certifications in social auditing (GRASP, ETI, SMETA, SA8000, APSCA).
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shadow, review, and conduct audits of certification bodies and auditors.
• Review audit reports and corrective actions; provide feedback.
• Develop and maintain audit templates and guidance with RA.
• Coordinate with RA Assurance Team and field personnel.
