Job summary

Biks AI is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit between our product and clients, translating needs into production-ready AI solutions. You will build AI agents end-to-end, prototype fast, and join client calls to turn feedback into working software.

Remote-first, with a weekly client meeting and a coworking day in Jakarta. Fresh graduates welcome; experience with LLMs, REST, SQL, Git, Docker, and Linux is preferred.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and SQL.
• You have built something real with LLMs and agents and shipped it.
• Conversational English.

A Forward Deployed Engineer sits between our product and our clients. You join the client conversation, work out what they actually need, build it, and make sure it holds up in production.

• Build AI agents that solve real client problems, end to end.
• Prototype fast, then harden what works into production.
• Join the founders on client calls and turn what you hear into working software.
• Support senior engineers on delivery — integrations, debugging, deployment.

What we are looking for

• Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks, and SQL.
• You have built something real with LLMs and agents — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor — and shipped it.
• Git, and willingness to learn deployment (Docker, Linux VPS).
• Conversational English.
• Computer Science or a related field. Fresh graduates welcome.
