Job summary

Techconnect is seeking an Accounting & Tax Staff to support the company’s accounting and tax operations across local and offshore entities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Your responsibilities include monthly closings, VAT and PPh filings, offshore entity coordination, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting/tax experience (fresh grads with internship may be considered).
• Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and monthly closings.
• Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations (PPh and PPN) and monthly tax reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Accurate or equivalent).
• Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English for stakeholder coordination.
• Willingness to learn offshore entity administration and cross-border reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record daily journal entries according to policies.
• Perform monthly closings, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and submit monthly tax reports (VAT, withholding tax, other filings).
• Support accounting and tax admin for offshore entities with local advisors.
• Maintain orderly accounting documentation for audits.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Tax, Treasury, and Corporate Finance teams and external auditors.
