Job Vacancy: Finance Staff

Job Summary

SoleFamily Bali is seeking a meticulous and trustworthy Finance Staff to support accurate financial management, ensure transparent record keeping, and maintain compliance with internal control standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all financial transactions from daily petty cash to monthly financial reports are recorded accurately and timely, supporting the organisation’s mission to provide compassionate, person-centred care for those in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain weekly cash flow records that accurately reflect actual income and expenses.
  • Ensure 100% of scheduled invoices are issued on time and correctly recorded.
  • Deposit all received funds within 2 working days, supported with complete deposit slips.
  • Review outstanding invoices weekly and conduct timely follow-ups within the same month.
  • Record all operational expenses with proper documentation and ensure they remain within approved budget allocations.
  • Process and record purchase requests and inventory updates promptly, ensuring stock levels remain accurate.
  • Prepare and submit weekly petty cash reports with complete receipts and reconciliations.
  • Oversee merchandise transactions following par stock levels under dual control verification; ensure monthly stock logs are complete and verified.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Profit & Loss (P&L), budget variance, and financial review reports before the 7th of the following month, highlighting key insights for management.
  • Support annual audits, donor financial reporting, and compliance reviews as required.
  • Uphold integrity, confidentiality, and financial accountability in all finance-related activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within NGOs, foundations, or social enterprises.
  • Proven skills in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and finance systems such as Kledo, Journal, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability in handling financial data.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Has strong integrity and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
