We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Analyst to support core financial processes our operations in Indonesia. This role is essential in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
The Financial Operations Analyst plays a critical role in driving the company's financial strategy and operational efficiency. This position focuses on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This role will also be instrumental in profitability analysis and supporting business initiatives.
Main responsibilities
- Accounts Payable Management:
- Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices
- Obtain necessary invoice approvals in accordance with the delegation of authority. Schedule and process vendor payments accurately and timely.
- Manage and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company travel and expense policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
- Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Assist the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with management.
- Perform comprehensive variance analysis (e.g., budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual, prior year vs. actual).
- Assist in preparing insightful management reports on financial performance, including commentary on results
- Being a business partner with sales and project delivery teams to support and track project financial performance, and margin analysis.
- Perform profitability analysis by product, service line, or business unit.
- Cash Flow Management & Forecasting:
- Monitor weekly and projected cash balances positions.
- Maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, identifying potential shortfalls or surpluses.
- Finance Project
- Being a key person to collaborate with other department for internal finance-related projects (e.g. building automation processes empowered by AI)
- Tax Compliance:
- Assist in preparation and filing of tax returns (Indonesia and Singapore)
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- Familiarity with Xero (a plus).
- Strong ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask.
