Eaton in Indonesia is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the Indonesia finance team and support sales operations across Jakarta and Batam. The role partners with the country manager to achieve financial objectives and reports to the East Asia controller.

You will oversee all finance and accounting activities, ensure GAAP and local statutory compliance, and guide commercial and operations teams on pricing, contracts, working capital, and risk management to drive sustainable growth.

Formación

• At least 10 years’ finance experience of which at least 5 years must be at Financial Manager level
• Experience in a similar industry will be advantageous, as will international experience.
• Candidates must have a proven track record in financial management and accounting, preferably developed in a distribution, import/export or product-related environment.
• Suitable candidates will possess broad accounting skills and should ideally be highly computer literate.

• Familiarity with the Indonesia statutory reporting requirements in both accounting and tax requirement
• Strong commercial knowledge can support for customer credit and contract payment term review

Responsabilidades

• A. Lead monthly closing with GFSS, coordinate forecasting and budgeting, and manage cash flow.
• B. Ensure compliance with local tax requirements and statutory reporting.
• C. Support project bidding, review credit limits, assess financial, commercial, and contractual risks, participate in project contract review (including BG) and negotiate finance-related terms.
• D. Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting.
• E. Implement and monitor GAAP compliance, audits, and internal controls; monthly BSR reviews for ledgers.
• F. Provide financial guidance to Commercial, SCM, and CSR on profitability, working capital, capex, and risk management.
• G. Prepare financial results, forecasts, and management updates; monitor performance and corrective actions.
• H. Support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives for growth.
• I. Build people, processes, and systems for continuous improvement and automation across Finance, SC, and CS functions.
• J. Support ad hoc finance projects including ERP upgrades and entity initiatives.

Descripción del empleo

This position will lead Indonesia finance team, and support sales operation for both Jakarta and Batam sales office. It is a critical business partner supporting country manager to achieve the sales and financial objectives. This position will report to East Asia controller and dot line report to Indonesia country manager.

The role is responsible for managing all finance and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with local tax, statutory, and corporate requirements, and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting. In addition, the Finance Manager serves as a strategic partner to the commercial and operations teams by supporting project bidding, contract review and negotiation of finance-related terms, credit management, project margin tracking, working capital optimization, forecasting, and business decision-making. The role also drives process improvements, strengthens internal controls, supports corporate initiatives, and builds organizational capabilities across Finance and Sales Operations to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

A. Manage and support finance and accounting activities for the business, working closely with GFSS to lead monthly closing and review activities, coordinate forecasting and budgeting processes, perform monthly financial reconciliations, reporting and analysis, and manage cash flow and working capital to support business growth and operational efficiency.

B. Manage and ensure compliance with all local tax requirements, including VAT, WHT, CIT, tax filings, tax audits, and statutory reporting obligations.

C. Act as a strategic business partner to the commercial team by supporting project bidding activities, reviewing customer credit limits, evaluating financial, commercial, and contractual risks, participating in project contract review(including BG) and negotiation of finance-related terms, supporting pricing decisions, monitoring project margin performance throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring appropriate commercial and risk management processes are in place to support sound business decisions and profitable growth.

D. Review and analyze financial data and information to ensure accuracy, consistency, transparency, and integrity of financial reporting for the organization.

E. Interpret, implement, and monitor corporate policies and procedures, ensuring financial reporting complies with GAAP, local statutory requirements, and internal control standards. Support internal and external audits and drive timely resolution of audit findings. Monthly BSR review for local ledgers.

F. Understand business needs and challenges and provide financial guidance and support to Commercial, SCM, and CSR on operating strategies, profitability improvement, working capital optimization, capex management, cost control, risk management, process improvements, and key business decisions.

G. Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and business insights to the leadership team, including monthly business reviews and management updates. Monitor performance against plans, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to achieve financial and operational targets.

H. Support financial planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives to drive profitable growth and improve overall business performance.

I. Build people, process, and system capabilities to drive continuous improvement, process standardization, automation, digital transformation, and enhanced internal controls across Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service functions.

J. Support ad hoc finance and business projects, including system upgrades, ERP implementations, legal entity initiatives, business transformation projects, and other corporate initiatives.
