Panasonic Industrial Devices Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Batam seeks an experienced Finance Executive to lead end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit/tax coordination, and internal controls.

The role requires full-time presence in Batam, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accountancy, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Brevet A, B & C (or equivalent).
• Min. 5 years relevant working experience.
• Fully based in Batam.
• Experience in Indonesian manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of PSAK, tax rules and government regulations.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to lead end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit/tax coordination, and internal controls. The role will also support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and continuous process improvement. Based full-time in Batam.

Job Description

Prepare accounting entries, review schedules, and manage account reconciliations.

Oversee monthly and annual closing processes.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial and consolidated reports.

Perform financial analysis and variance analysis, and resolve reporting issues.

Compliance, Audit & Tax Management

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Indonesia tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors, legal representatives, and corporate secretarial parties.

Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.

Policy Development & Business Support

Develop and implement accounting policies and SOPs.

Support operations through ad‑hoc assignments, special projects, and financial advisory activities.

Ensure compliance with management approval regulations and company procedures.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement

Establish and strengthen internal control systems.

Safeguard company assets, including inventory and fixed assets.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow Management

Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor and plan cash flow to ensure sufficient funding for operations.

Education Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.

Brevet A, B & C (or equivalent).

Key Requirements

Min. 5 years relevant working experience.

Fully based in Batam.

Experience working in an Indonesian company (manufacturing industry preferred).

Strong understanding of PSAK, tax rules and regulations, and relevant government regulations.

Proficient in Microsoft tools, Power BI, and other ERP / AI systems.

Language

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written) as this role is based in Batam.
