Overview

Minimum of 5 years experience in finance and accounting, preferably at Public Accounting Firm. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. Strong attention to detail, hands-on and a keen eye for detail and a desire to probe further into data. Advanced computer software skills, proficiency in financial/accounting software and tax software. Able to work under pressure and meet reporting timeline. Working area at Surabaya and Willing to travel within region.

Duties and responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance department
• Prepare profit and loss statements, monthly closing and cost center accounting reports, ensure timely financial and management reports
• Maintaining a full set of accounting records of the Company in accordance with the relevant standards and statutory requirements including ensuring the completion of the General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and production of the P&L statements
• Assist in financial forecasting and budget preparation processes, analyse the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses, while proposing corrective actions
• Preparing the annual statutory accounts. Drafting of the yearly audit report and computing Deferred taxation
• Handling tax-related matters and ensuring timely filing
• Ensure internal control procedures are strictly followed. Able to identify business risks and implement required internal control procedures to mitigate risks
• Liaise with external parties, namely, the Government institutions, customs department, bankers, auditors, and tax agents regarding the respective affairs of the Company
• Handle all banking-related matters
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance and accounting team
• Other duties deemed fit by the Company
