Job description

Heyvisa is looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to support our daily financial operations, ensure accurate bookkeeping, and maintain smooth financial processes across the company. You will manage invoices, payments, reconciliations, basic reporting, and work closely with operations to keep everything organized and compliant.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment.

What You Will Do
  • Manage daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations for clients and vendors
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
  • Assist in monthly financial closing and basic financial reports
  • Work with the operations team to verify documents, costing, and expense claims
  • Maintain organized financial documentation both digital and physical
  • Support tax-related processes such as e-filing, VAT input/output, and compliance (with accountant or tax consultant assistance)
  • Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and internal teams regarding financial matters
What We Are Looking For
  • One to two years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related role
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Familiar with accounting software such as Jurnal.id, Accurate, or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing
  • Organized, responsible, and able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
  • Bonus points if you have experience in the travel, hospitality, or service industry
