Factory Manager – Manufacturing (Automotive/Steel)

Our client is a Japanese Manufacturing company. Currently, they are looking for a Factory Manager.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and improvement, comply with quality management standards across all related departments.
• Evaluate operational performance and manufacturing costs, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and ensure operational efficiency targets are met.
• Ensure smooth manufacturing operations to support overall business continuity.
• Coordinate closely with other departments to maintain seamless operational flow.
• Develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-term manufacturing strategies and improvement targets.
• Ensure achievement of all production and manufacturing targets set by management.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a Top 20 University in Indonesia.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the same position within the Manufacturing industry (Automotive / Steel industry).
• Strong understanding of machining processes: Press, Cutting, Bending, Both-Side, Chamfering, etc.
• Capable of collecting, organizing, and analyzing accurate data for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Able to work effectively within tight deadlines and specified targets.
• Experienced in managing 150+ subordinates.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Skilled in identifying, managing, and analyzing operational risks.
• Proficient in English (spoken & written).
• Computer proficient, minimum Microsoft Office.
• Mastery of ISO 9001:2008 standards.
