We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Facilities Staff to support the setup, readiness, and ongoing maintenance of Sparks Swim facilities. This role ensures that swimming pools, shower and changing rooms, and supporting facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure swimming pool facilities (pool area, shower rooms, changing rooms, and supporting areas) are ready and well-maintained before branch opening and during daily operations.
- Monitor and support swimming pool maintenance, including water filtration systems, water circulation, and basic water quality parameters (e.g. pH chlorine levels).
- Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and follow-ups related to pool machinery and facility equipment.
- Conduct regular on-site facility inspections to identify defects, safety issues, or maintenance needs, and report them accordingly.
- Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Procurement, and HO teams) as well as external vendors to ensure facility readiness and compliance with standards.
- Support branch openings and expansions by ensuring all facilities meet operational, safety, and brand requirements.
- Maintain clear documentation and reports related to facility conditions, pool maintenance logs, and readiness status.
- Coordinate with on-site teams such as lifeguards and OB staff to ensure daily facility operations run smoothly.
- Travel regularly to visit Sparks Swim locations and oversee on-site facility conditions.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from any major.
- 1–2 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or a related role.
- Prior experience handling swimming pool facilities (e.g. in villas, hotels, resorts, swimming pools, or similar environments) is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of swimming pool systems, including water filtration, water circulation, and water quality control (pH, chlorine, etc.).
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be mobile and conduct regular site visits.
- Able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
