Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking an experienced Engineering & Facilities Manager to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations at our Jakarta-area property. You will manage building systems, safety, security and asset protection, and lead budget planning and energy conservation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 4 years in engineering/maintenance or a 2-year degree with relevant experience, plus HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• Or 2-year degree in Building/Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in engineering/maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Manages Engineering and maintenance operations, including building, grounds and physical plant; focuses on safety, security and asset protection.
• Maintains and operates equipment for optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety; manages budgeting and capital projects.
• Leads the emergency response team for facility issues; ensures regulatory compliance; oversees vendor coordination and staff supervision.
