A leading firm in event management in Indonesia is seeking an Event Coordinator to identify opportunities and manage events in the power tool industry. The ideal candidate should have relevant educational background and experience in event organizing, with strong vendor management and creative skills. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software. Travel may be required for events.
Identify and seek event opportunities relevant to the power tool industry.
Initiate and develop event concepts that align with branding objectives, brand awareness, and market penetration for featured products.
Actively coordinate with external vendors and internal company teams.
Manage the entire event preparation process and be responsible for ensuring the event's success in meeting the established concept and targets.
Seek creative merchandise ideas relevant to target customers.
Ensure merchandise designs are consistent with brand guidelines.
Manage production and control merchandise quality, from design and material selection to delivery.
Coordinate with internal company divisions for merchandise distribution to dealers, sub-dealers, and end users according to marketing priorities.
Collect feedback from dealers, sub-dealers, and end users to improve merchandise quality in the following year.
Prepare merchandise inventory recaps and distribution reports.
Prepare analyses of merchandise effectiveness on customer awareness and loyalty.
Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Marketing, Event Management, or Visual Communication Design.
Preference will be given to those with prior experience in event organizing, promotion, or marketing support, preferably those who have handled exhibitions, roadshows, seminars, or association events. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Knowledge or experience in the power tool industry, industrial machinery, tools, or engineering equipment is a plus.
Experience in finding and managing vendors (event organizers, printing companies, merchandise suppliers).
Experience in handling merchandise production from the ideation and design stages to distribution.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferably familiar with simple design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) for event layout design and merchandise design.
Have negotiation skills to get the best price and quality from vendors.
High creativity and initiative in developing new ideas.
Meticulous in the technical details of events and merchandise production.
Flexible and adaptable to changes in event plans and market trends.
Able to work with tight deadlines.
Willing to travel to various exhibitions, association events, and even on out-of-town business trips to monitor events outside the city.
Possess a valid motorcycle and car driver's license.
