Job description

An Estimate Drafter responsible for creating cost estimates for HVAC projects, calculating material and equipment requirements, designing and laying out HVAC systems according to project needs, and producing shop drawings with revisions as needed.

Key responsibilities

Create cost estimates for HVAC projects

Calculate material and equipment requirements

Design and layout HVAC systems according to project needs

Create shop drawings and revise drawings as required

Coordinate with sales, project, and site teams

Conduct site surveys as needed

Assist with tender processes and proposal submissions

Ensure designs comply with standards and client requirements

Prepare progress reports on design and estimation work

About you

Minimum S1 degree in Engineering or related field

Experience in HVAC field is an advantage

Understanding of basic HVAC systems (AC Split, VRV/VRF, Chiller, AHU, Ducting, Ventilation)

Ability to read technical drawings and shop drawings

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Understanding of AC capacity calculations and cooling load is a plus

Attention to detail in creating estimates and project calculations

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
