About the role

This full‑time Environmental Officer role at Lianqing Bangunan Indonesia offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the company’s environmental initiatives in Central Jakarta, Jakarta. As an Environmental Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with all relevant environmental regulations and standards while also driving initiatives to improve the company’s environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and analysing the company’s environmental performance across key metrics such as energy usage, waste management, and emissions.
• Developing and implementing strategies to minimise the company’s environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation measures.
• Ensuring the company’s operations adhere to all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decision‑making and processes.
• Preparing and submitting environmental reports and compliance documentation to relevant authorities.
• Identifying and evaluating new technologies, processes, and best practices that can enhance the company’s environmental sustainability.
• Promoting environmental awareness and fostering a culture of sustainability among employees.

Qualifications

• (a) Bachelor’s Degree (Diploma 4) or higher with further training and qualifications in Environmental Management and relevant registration with Indonesian authority to practice as Certified Environment Auditor (auditor Lingkungan Hidup) from BNSP, preferably certified as Lead Auditor.
• (b) At least 5 years’ relevant experience in projects, Environment Management.
• (c) Indonesian citizen.
• (d) Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English language.
