Briton English Education in Indonesia seeks an English Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for Young Learners, Teens, and Adults, aligned with Cambridge English standards and CEFR.
You will prepare students for Cambridge Qualifications and IELTS, implement structured lessons and assessments, develop all four language skills, monitor progress, and collaborate with coordinators to support diverse learning needs.
As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality English language instruction to Young Learners, Teens, and Adults based on internationally recognized Cambridge English standards. You will support students in developingpractical communication skills and preparing for internationally benchmarked English proficiency pathways, including Cambridge English Qualifications (Young Learners, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, and C1 Advanced). Depending on experience and placement, selected instructors may also teach IELTS preparation classes.
Deliver high-quality English language instruction using internationally recognized Cambridge English standards for Young Learners, Teens, and Adults across various proficiency levels.
Prepare students for internationally benchmarked English proficiency pathways, including Cambridge English Qualifications (Young Learners, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, and C1 Advanced). Selected instructors may also teach IELTS preparation classes depending on experience and placement.
Implement structured lesson plans, classroom activities, assessments, and learning materials aligned with curriculum objectives, CEFR standards, and student learning outcomes.
Language Skills Development
Develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through communicative and interactive teaching approaches while reinforcing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and real-world communication skills.
Student Assessment & Support
Monitor student progress, conduct classroom assessments and practice tests, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their academic and language learning goals.
Classroom Management & Professional Collaboration
Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment, collaborate with academic coordinators and teaching teams, and participate in ongoing professional development and Cambridge English-related training programs.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Education, or a related field.
TEFL, TESOL, TKT, CELTA, or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English, including exam preparation and communicative English programs.
Familiarity with Cambridge English exams (A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced) and IELTS.
Experience using various teaching approaches (ESA, PPP, TBL, etc)
Ability to design engaging lessons and adapt teaching methods for learners across different proficiency levels and learning needs.
