Job description

Title: Engineering Operations Support Manager

KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for an Engineering Operations Support Manager to support the Abadi LNG project, one of the largest projects in Asia. This project will provide front-end design (FEED) for onshore liquefied natural gas facilities & will have a peak production capacity targets of 9.5 million tons per annum of LNG and 150 million standard cubic feet per day of pipeline gas. The Abadi LNG project has been designated a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The Engineering Operations Support Manager will ensure that all designs comply with related standards and regulations that are accepted within OLNG projects and O&M requirements. This role will be responsible for the effective FEED design effort.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operation and maintenance input into the design by utilizing experiences of other senior operational personnel in the fields of LNG operations, maintenance, plant commissioning, commissioning, & Gas processing & liquefaction operations
  • Contribute O&M input into the work for development of O&M related deliverables & O&M related works such as HAZOP, P&ID review, 3D-model review commissioning and start-up related plans & the like
  • Deliver operational input to the design of the inlet facility, maintenance activities, including likes of mechanical handling & lifting
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or directly related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, with average experience of 15 - 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry
  • 7 + years of experience working as Production or Operation Lead or equivalent
  • LNG FEED experience and/or EPC projects
  • Knowledge of OLNG standards, regulations, guidelines, & sufficient LGN operational experience
  • Familiar with gas processing, liquefaction maintenance & operations
