Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the body manufacturing or heavy equipment industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of engineering design, production processes, and manufacturing practices.
• Solid analytical, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the manufacturability of new body designs, structural concepts, and configuration proposals to ensure they can be produced effectively within commercial vehicle body manufacturing standards, engineering principles, and the company’s production capabilities.
• Assess and recommend enhancements related to performance, cost efficiency, product quality, structural integrity, and production processes, aligning all improvement initiatives with internal requirements and operational feedback.
• Lead the implementation of engineering solutions for new product development requests from customers, ensuring that all technical outputs meet agreed timelines and comply with the required specifications typical within the body manufacturing industry.
• Execute the development and integration of new product designs—including structural bodywork, mechanical assemblies, and associated components—ensuring they meet performance targets, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, while maintaining proportional cost and adherence to the approved schedule.
• Oversee and ensure the availability of required raw materials, structural components, and specialized tooling needed for new product builds, securing all resources in alignment with project timelines and production plans.
• Conduct verification and validation activities for all procured materials, fabricated parts, and assembled components to confirm compliance with engineering requirements, quality standards, and relevant safety criteria applicable to commercial body manufacturing.
