Job summary

Sampoerna Academy is seeking an Elementary English Language Arts & Reading (ELAR) teacher for the AY 27/28 to join our school in Tangerang. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in English education, including IGCSE and AS/A Level Cambridge curricula, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English Literature or English Language with high level of English proficiency.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience teaching English as First Language, IGCSE and AS/A Level Cambridge for secondary students in private or international schools.
• Proven ability to achieve student academic success.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set, and deliver standards for learning.
• Prepare and support critical thinking for students in the classroom.
• Observe and evaluate student’s performance and development.
• Establish links with the parent community to ensure that parents are kept well informed about student progress.
