Job summary

Responsibilities

• Check the condition of the production, electrical and other supporting machines every day according to the specified schedule, and report abnormal conditions for immediate repair.
• Perform preventive maintenance and condition monitoring tasks according to established procedures.
• Perform change / modification tasks and installation of power tools, fabrication of control panels and others when needed.
• Check the function and simulate the working process of electric machines/appliances, as well as the function of control circuits, alarms and interlocks to ensure safe operation.
• Take initiative to maintain housekeeping to improve safety and working conditions.
• Create a daily report on completed work and document it in the quality records for the machines worked on.
• Record actual electricity usage (PLN & Genset / Solar) daily to ensure correct consumption.
• Maintain and uphold company rules and obligations with full awareness by subordinates.
• Maintain work discipline and safety regulations.
• Carry out other duties as instructed by superiors.
• Respond to emergency calls at any time and coordinate with electrical foreman.
• Install, alter and repair installations, control panels and other electrical appliances as agreed with users and superiors.
• Conduct functional testing and simulation of electrical and instrument equipment, alarms and interlocks for accuracy and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace to a high standard.
• Attend training related to engineering and safety of the plant and participate in improvement programs.
• Record activities and communicate daily progress to the electrical foreman.
• Be available to respond to emergency calls after hours or holidays if required.
• Assist mechanical work when requested.
• Support the implementation of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, Halal, SMK3, ISCC, RSPO, SMART D_Safe, OHSAS 18001, HACCP).
• Maintain all equipment and keep the work environment clean.
