Job summary

Aurecon invites an Electrical Engineer to join our Indonesia Built Environment team. You will contribute to building and infrastructure projects, delivering electrical design, feasibility studies, and documentation from concept through detailed design.

You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, Architects, Contractors, and Authorities to ensure high-quality outcomes in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in buildings electrical design and M&E commissioning.
• Data centre experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and client management abilities.
• Excellent communication in English and Bahasa.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs, documentation reports, proposals, and specifications for reasonably complex projects.
• Contribute to project planning and manage resources for small projects.
• Perform clarification and technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Execute feasibility studies, concept design, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with drafters for drafting checks and design reviews.

What will you do?

In this position, you will join our growing Indonesia Built Environment business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce designs, documentation reports, proposals, and specifications, perform calculation and analysis to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity.
• Contribute to project planning.
• Assume responsibility for planning and managing resources of small projects or parts of larger projects.
• Performing clarification and technical meeting.
• Execute feasibility studies, project definition, concept design, specifications, and design documentation.
• Coordinating with drafter in term of drafting checking.
• Providing design reviews of electrical project proposals.
• Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, tenders, specifications etc.
• Assisting in tender evaluation for expressions of interest and capital works tenders, both technically and commercially.
• Complete analysis and design of ELV, LV, MV, and HV power, lighting, lightning, earthing system, communications services.
• Prepare submission procedures and design standards.
• Carry out site investigations and audits to develop and improve designs; and
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively with internal team, Clients, Architects, Contractors, and Authorities from concept to detail design and construction.

General Management

Responsible for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements and act as a role model for Aurecon's values and behaviors

Demonstrate safety leadership in all aspects of Aurecon's business

Provide input into Unit or office business planning, as requested

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, with minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Buildings Electrical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings. Data Centre Experience will be preferred.
• Experience in Data Centre or Telecommunications is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and team management ability
• High level engineering consulting and client management skills
• Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients
• Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa) with well-developed commercial, analytical and technical skills
• Sense-making communication skills, being able to explain complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences
• Experienced in delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept and detailed design
