Work you’ll do:

Data sits at the heart of every organisation and is relied upon for all aspects of operations, analysis, decision‑making, reporting and regulatory requirements. This is no different for us at Deloitte. The enabling functions in Audit & Assurance are going through a transformation in how we support the business. Information for decision‑making is vital as is effective coordination of our processes.

As a senior analyst with the transformation team, you will work with the different SEA offices and what you deliver will make a difference as you provide actionable insights and bring efficiency. You will work across a range of internal enabling areas to support the quality, transformation, and operations functions in Audit & Assurance.

• Data extraction from various systems for use in management discussion and analysis
• Data manipulation using tools such as Excel, Qlikview, and/or PowerBI to load and transform raw data into standard data models.
• Data analysis, visualizing results through interactive dashboards which you will build.
• Performing and coordinating reconciliations to verify the completeness and accuracy of data.
• Carry out data quality checks which will need to be raised to management if any problems occur.
• Manage a portfolio of reporting deliverables to local leadership and Asia Pacific, ensuring tasks are being done on time and in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Assist in the training and facilitation of audit platform training modules to professionals.
• Project management and coordination of various change and transformation activities

Core Requirements

• Degree in any discipline, preferably Accounting, Data Analytics, Finance or Economics.
• Technology savvy and keen to learn new technologies and how it applies to our workflows.
• Creative and thinks outside the box.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and strong brand knowledge will be an advantage.
• Prior experience working with and managing large data sets, including extraction and merges from source systems, data cleansing and transformations, and providing preliminary descriptive analytics findings.
• Additional prior experience working in Audit, Qlikview and/or PowerBI would be beneficial.
• Individuals should be enthusiastic and have a flair for problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Passionate about learning about inhouse audit platform.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written (English language).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organization, time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
