Job Summary

We are looking for a highly proficient and reliable freelance drone operator to execute aerial missions across Indonesia. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge in operating the DJI Matrice 350, DJI L2, and DJI P1 platforms. You will be responsible for safely and effectively capturing data, images, and video footage according to specific project requirements, often in varied and challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Mission Planning & Execution: Plan and perform safe drone flight operations, including pre-flight checks, in-flight monitoring, and post-flight procedures.
• Data Capture: Operate drones and their integrated payloads (e.g., RGB cameras, LiDAR sensors, multispectral cameras) to capture high-quality aerial data, imagery, and video as required by the project scope.
• Equipment Management: Transport, maintain, and ensure the proper care of all drone equipment, including aircraft, batteries, sensors, and ground control stations.
• Data Management: Securely handle, download, and perform basic processing or quality checks on captured data before delivery.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all local aviation regulations and safety protocols set by the company and Indonesian authorities. Secure necessary permits if required for the operation.
• Travel: Be available to travel extensively to various project sites throughout Indonesia for the duration of each assignment.
• Reporting: Provide clear and concise field reports and communicate project status to the project manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional drone operator.
• Mandatory Expertise: Demonstrable, hands‑on experience in operating the DJI Matrice 350 (M350 RTK), DJI Zenmuse L2 (LiDAR), and DJI Zenmuse P1 (Photogrammetry) platforms is essential.
• Must possess a valid Indonesian drone pilot license/certification (Sertifikat Pilot Drone/UAV dari Kemenhub/PUSTRAL) that is appropriate for the operational risk category.
• Strong understanding of aerial photography, videography, mapping, and/or surveying principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in the field.
• Excellent physical condition and ability to work in various outdoor terrains and weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel domestically on short notice and for extended periods.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
