Job Role

The Distribution Sales Manager is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration through the strategic development and management of the company's channel distribution network. This role oversees regional commercial operations across multiple territories and leads the execution of sales processes, partner strategies, and ecosystem development.

The role is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with regional business integrators, distributors, resellers, and retail partners, while also enhancing the brand presence through localized marketing and engagement activities. With deep expertise in telecommunication products such as switches, routers, datacom, and enterprise wifi, the role plays a key part in enabling partners and capturing new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Channel Market Operations
  • Responsible for overseeing the commercial market operation in a designated regional or multi-regional territory, focusing on medium-sized to general commercial markets.
  • Implement and manage business processes across multiple sales and operational sub-modules within the assigned region.
  • Channel Strategy & Partner Ecosystem Development
  • Develop and manage relationships with regional strategic business integrators to drive sales and project success.
  • Take the lead in building a robust channel partner ecosystem tailored to specific customer and regional needs.
  • Drive the brand presence and visibility of the company's channel network through regional branding and partner-driven activities.
  • Sales Leadership
  • Act as a core commercial leader in key cities, representing the company in local business forums and strategic initiatives.
  • Take full responsibility for meeting business objectives in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Distributor & Partner Management
  • Demonstrate hands-on experience in managing distributors, ensuring alignment with the company's channel strategy and commercial goals.
  • Drive operational excellence and accountability across the distributor network to expand the company's reach.
  • Technical Product Knowledge
  • Possess solid understanding of telecom and ICT products, including switches, routers, data communication devices, and enterprise wifi solutions.
  • Use technical knowledge to support product positioning, partner training, and customer engagement.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: at least Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Years of Experience: at least 10 years of experience in Sales function, including Business Development, Channel Sales and Strategic Partnerships.
  • Industry Expertise: Telecommunication or ICT industry, with hands‑on experience and demonstrated knowledge in telecommunication products (switch, routers, datacom, wifi, and other retail or run‑rate products).
  • Language: English (professional fluency in spoken and written).
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Extensive experience in the Run-Rate Market with a proven track record of sales growth.
  • Deep understanding of channel partner structures, distribution models, and reseller networks.
  • Experience working with established players in the Run-Rate Market.
  • Strong knowledge of competitor strategies and how to differentiate in the market.
  • Technical Skills: strong analytical skills with experience in P&L management, forecasting, and market insights.
  • Professional Qualities: exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
