Job description

The Product Manager works two-in-a-box with a Rotational Operational Leader rotated in from the business to lead a specific operational domain such as Mining, Processing, Smelting, or Supporting Services. Together, they are accountable for the domain's outcomes and make decisions on priorities and solutions that deliver the greatest business value.

• Partner with the Rotational Operational Leader to define product priorities for the domain, ensuring focus on the operational challenges that deliver the greatest value while supporting business strategy, safety, and sustainability objectives.
• Identify and assess improvement opportunities across the domain's value chain, working with Product Analysts to understand current processes, quantify potential benefits, and develop robust business cases before investment decisions are made.
• Set the product direction and priorities for the delivery pod and Platforms & Data team, and manage the sequencing of initiatives within the approved portfolio roadmap.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Science, Data Analytics, or other relevant discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 7-10 years of product management experience, with a proven track record of owning products and delivering measurable business outcomes in complex operational, industrial, or asset-intensive environments.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior operational leaders, translating operational challenges into practical, value-driven products that achieve strong user adoption and business impact.
• Experience in mining, processing, smelting, or other asset-intensive industries is strongly preferred for this role due to its close integration with operational teams and processes.
