Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Digital General Manager / Business Manager to lead and grow our digital division. The ideal candidate is a leader who understands the intricacies of a creative agency and possesses a proven track record in driving business growth, managing multidisciplinary teams, and fostering senior-level client relationships.
This role is responsible for the overall profitability (P&L), strategy, and operational excellence of the digital business unit, ensuring we deliver innovative creative solutions that meet client and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Growth
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the digital client portfolio.
- Lead the pitching process and presentation of digital strategies to potential clients.
- Develop strategies for client growth, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain a strong industry network.
Strategic & Client Leadership
- Act as the primary strategic advisor for key clients, understanding their business challenges and translating them into digital solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships at the C-level or senior management level with clients.
- Ensure the highest quality standards and client satisfaction across all projects.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, new technologies, and digital platforms to ensure strategies are always relevant and innovative.
Team & Operational Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the digital team (including Strategists, Accounts, Creatives, and Performance) to achieve their full potential.
- Foster a collaborative, creative, and high-performance work culture.
- Oversee resource allocation, project management, and ensure efficient, on‑time project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative, Production, and other departments to ensure integrated execution.
- Hold full responsibility for the P&L (Profit & Loss) of the digital division.
- Set revenue targets, manage budgets, and ensure the profitability of each project and client.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in a creative agency, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Head, Lead, Senior Manager).
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development, winning pitches, and growing client accounts.
- Deep understanding of the entire digital marketing ecosystem (SEO/SEM, Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Performance Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Web/App Development).
- Strong experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills, proficient in both Indonesian and English.
- Strategic thinker, analytical, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Possesses a portfolio of successful and innovative digital campaigns.
- Direct experience managing a P&L.
- An extensive network of contacts among brands or related industries.
