Job Summary

The Deputy CEO will work closely with the CEO to oversee all aspects of the company's operations, strategic planning, and business development. Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
    • Assist the CEO in developing, communicating, and executing the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives across various departments.
    • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards.
    • Optimize operational processes to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality.
    • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
    • Collaborate with the CFO to manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
    • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost reduction, and profit maximization.
    • Ensure sound financial management and reporting.
  • Business Development & Growth
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansions.
    • Lead negotiations and cultivate strategic relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
    • Drive innovation and the development of new products or services.
    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to senior management and departmental heads.
    • Foster a positive and high-performance work culture, promoting collaboration and employee development.
    • Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate potential business risks.
  • Stakeholder Relations

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (e.g., VP, COO, or similar) within the chemical manufacturing industry or a closely related sector. Proven track record of driving significant business growth and achieving strategic objectives. Demonstrated experience in managing complex operations, financial performance, and large teams. Prior experience in an Indonesian market context is a significant advantage.
