Job description
Depot Manager/Logistics Manager/Operations Manager

Oversee daily Depot activities, including M&R activities.

Manage and ensure that the core activities are functioning smoothly and efficiently, while developing and driving strategies, in line with Group’s strategies, allowing to achieve long term profitable growth in assigned depot.

Analyze markets, identify business opportunities, develop business prospects for sustainable growth of the business.

Keep abreast with emerging issues in the industry and advise management and clients accordingly.

Drive strategic improvement to enhance operational and organizational efficiency.

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Full P&L responsibility. Oversee control of all the financial aspects of the business and balance sheet including forecasting and budgeting

Propose measures to improve profitability, when relevant, in accordance with the Group strategy

Prepare and present the financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for entities under scope.

Analyze operations and develop cost effective suggestions in line with the business’s direction.

Review operational procedures and make necessary amendments to achieve high standards of execution, to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Establish and implement Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) and all other business compliance standards. Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and a continuous improvement in HSSE processes.

Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Key Experience & Qualifications
  • Diploma/bachelor's degree in Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years in similar positions running a depot business unit with P&L responsibility or experienced with Logistics industry.
  • Experience in finance related matters, setting budgets and reporting against financial objectives, and P&L management experience.
  • Understand the containerized transportation and facilities industry and ability to relate with shipping company and other associated industry managers.
  • Experience in leading and deliver change initiatives.
  • Proficiency in English
