Demand Planning & Procurement Manager - Pharmaceutical

Our client, operating in the pharmaceuticals and medical devices industry, is currently looking for a Demand Planning & Procurement Manager to do demand forecasting, purchasing, and inventory; align with teams, optimize supply chain, and drive strategies for efficiency and cost control.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate demand forecasts and lead monthly S&OP meetings.
  • Monitor and adjust demand plans to align with business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relations, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely material delivery.
  • Oversee purchasing operations, compliance, and quality/value analysis.
  • Optimize and monitor inventory levels to meet demand and prevent stock issues.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts and strategies.
  • Implement improvement strategies, monitor team performance, and support strategic supply chain decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (supply chain management, operations, or business analytics).
  • Similar experience within pharmaceutical / medical device industry is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and forecasting skills.
  • Proficiency with forecasting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and purchasing practices.
  • Experience in a managerial role is often required.
