Job summary

A technology solutions company based in Jakarta is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to manage Oracle database systems and support. The role involves performing installations, handling customer issues, and conducting root-cause analyses under pressure. Candidates should be Oracle Certified Professionals with hands-on experience and strong SQL tuning skills. Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential. Willingness to travel across Indonesia and work on-site is also required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in IT industry.

Job description

Perform system and database installation and corrective maintenance.

Take ownership of support issues and be proactive when dealing with customer issues.

Perform root-cause analysis on customer issues to ensure that customer support issues are dealt with in a timely manner and in-line with expectations for any project/support work that rely on it.

Work closely with Principal Level-2 Support.

The role requires large amounts of customer interaction, hence the ability to work and communicate effectively is vital.

Will be based in Jakarta office, do not mind to travel if required.

Willing to work at customer site if required.

Emergency support for critical issues.

Requirements :

Must have an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.

Hands‑on experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN backup/recovery.

Strong skills in SQL tuning and database performance optimization.

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) monitoring tools.

Minimum D3 Engineering/Technical in Information Technology / Computer / Electronic major.

Minimum 2 (two) years Working Experience in IT Industry.

Familiar with Linux, Windows, UNIX and shell scripting for automation.

Deep understanding in Oracle Database and MySQL Database.

Able to learn and adaptable to new technology.

Working experiences as a post‑sales or IT engineer are added advantage.

Motivated, independent and able to build and maintain good relationship with customer.

Able to speak and write in English & Bahasa Indonesia. Able to work under pressure.

Willing to travel across Indonesia if needed. Customer oriented.

Able to Operate MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project.

Knowledge of cloud‑based database deployment is an advantage.
