Job description

Staffinc is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our client in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help improve the banking operations. This position requires a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, data mining, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Interpretation: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify meaningful trends and patterns.
2. Model Development: Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
3. Machine Learning: Implement machine learning techniques to improve banking processes and customer experience.
4. Data Visualization: Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT, and data engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
6. Research & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest data science trends and technologies and apply them to current projects.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of models, analysis, and processes.

Qualifications:

1. Work Arrangement:
   • Willing to work on-site in Jakarta Selatan (WFO)
   • Able to join ASAP
   • Willing to work in Banking sector
2. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
3. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data science or a related field, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
4. Technical Skills:
   • Proficient in programming languages such as Python or R.
   • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras).
   • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
   • Proficient in SQL and experience with database management.
   • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn).
5. Soft Skills:
   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
   • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutions.
