Job summary

Glints is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Bali, Indonesia, to translate complex data into scalable solutions that drive business impact. You will own end-to-end projects—from exploration to production deployment—and collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams.

The role spans model development, experimentation, and deploying low-latency models in a cloud environment to elevate the organisation's data function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 4+ years in data science or ML roles.
• Strong programming in Python, R, or similar.
• Hands-on with supervised/unsupervised learning, DL, RL.
• Proficiency with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• Experience with distributed computing (Spark/Hadoop/Dask).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with software dev practices: VCS, reviews, testing.
• Experience with Databricks as primary data environment.
• Deploying models with low-latency inference (300–500 ms).

• Proficiency with visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Dask).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with software development practices: version control, code reviews, and testing.
