Job Description

The primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our products.As Data Scientist, you play a role in strategic position that handles our lake of data and deliver meaningful insight for the company.You will work with many different teams from across industry under Kompas Gramedia that covers media, retail, publishing, hospitality, and many others. You have an exposure to work with the strong team that expert on their business domain, so you have both experiences (technical and business domain).

What you will be doing :

• Defining, collecting, processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Analyze large, complex datasets into actionable & meaningful insights for the company
• Bring data driven approach to solve complex problem which are important to our business

Qualifications

• Data-oriented personality.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to create data-driven insights
• Practical experience in solving business problem by using data science approach (Machine Learning)
• Having experience in constructing all data analytical process: Descriptive Analysis – Exploratory Data Analysis -- Predictive Analysis – Prescriptive Analysis
• Knowledgeable in programming language such as R, Python, Scala, SQL and familiar with big data technology (e.g. Apache Spark, Hadoop)
• Bachelors/Masters degree from top universities in a technical or quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, , etc.)
