Success requires strong programming, SQL, and cloud experience, with hands-on knowledge of ETL, data warehousing, and modern big data tools. This role focuses on performance, governance, and secure data storage in a cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum two years of related data engineering experience preferred.
• Two Google Cloud Platform (GCP) certifications within 3 months after joining.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and robust data architectures that meet organizational requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Manage data warehouses and data lakes ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, and external systems to create unified datasets.
• Perform data transformations and ETL processes for analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to establish data quality standards and governance.
• Optimize data processing and storage systems for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
